HOW TO M A X I M I Z E NAVIGATION OF THE CITY PUBLIC MEETINGS AGENDA CALENDAR PAGE
Council meetings are held on the first, second, and third Tuesdays of every month beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 415 Diamond Street. In order to assist you in understanding the procedures for conducting City Council meetings, an explanation of the agenda structure has been created for your review.
On the Agenda Calendar page, scroll to locate the meeting date you wish to view. To watch the live-stream of a meeting in progress, click "In Progress" under the Video Column for the current meeting. After each meeting, the recorded video will be posted in the video column the following day for you to view at your convenience; click on an agenda item to be directed to that portion of recorded meeting.
BY THE COLUMN: Different Ways to View Agendas and Agenda Materials
Meeting Details Column: Complete information available for a Council Meeting via a series of hyperlinks (Administrative Report and supporting attachments) that provide a complete legislative history for each item. Simply click on the File # of interest in the first column.
Agenda Column: To view the Agenda with links to Administrative Reports and their supporting attachments hover your cursor over the Agenda Title of interest and click.
Agenda Packet Column: To download the Agenda Packet in its entirety as a single document, beginning with the Council Agenda followed by all administrative reports and supporting attachments in chronological order as they appear on the Agenda.
Minutes Column: View official Council approved meeting minutes.
Supplemental Materials Column (just added 8/2021): View all additional supporting materials and email communications received after the Agenda is published. (Received & Filed by the City Council under BLUE FOLDER ITEMS section of the Agenda)
eComment Archives Column (just added 8/2021): View a report of all written electronically submitted public eComments up through adjournment for each meeting by Agenda item.
Video Column: Watch Live Stream by clicking "In Progress". After the meeting, the video recording will be posted here.
eComment (last column/live link): Add your written comments on any item of interest after publication of the Agenda here, or during a live meeting. See Guidelines to learn more about this public participation tool. Link closes after the meeting concludes.
Posting of agendas, minutes, and video. City Council meeting agendas are generally posted on this website 72-hours before the scheduled meeting (24-hours if a Special Meeting is called). Minutes are posted upon approval of the City Council.
Rebroadcasting of City Council meetings on TV. City Council meetings are programmed to playback on the City of Redondo Beach local access TV channels, Frontier - Ch. 41 and Spectrum - Ch. 8 on Wednesday and Saturday, following the meeting, at 11:00 a.m.
Sign up for Notification of Council Agenda Postings. To receive email notifications using the City's eNotify system please visit the eNotify page. Subscribers are sent notifications as agendas are published by the City.
Video Archives. Video recording of meetings held from May 2, 2017- June 18, 2019 are kept at the City Clerk's Office for viewing or duplication. To request to view a video archive or to order a DVD copy please submit a Public Records Request.
