Small Boat Launch Closed for Biannual Repair and Winter Storm Preparation

The small boat launch will be closed for its biannual repairs and winter storm preparation. For an alternative boat launch, go to the Marina Office located at 181 North Harbor Drive. It is located on the International Boardwalk south of the R10 social house.

Bring your household hazardous waste (HHW) and documents for shredding to the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center Parking Lot located at 1935 Manhattan Beach Boulevard on Saturday, October 28, 2017 between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Redondo Beach Residents and Businesses only — Proof of Residency REQUIRED. Business hazardous waste will not be accepted.

Beryl Street Improvement Project

As part of the Beryl Street Improvement Project, the City of Redondo Beach and Torrance will conduct a full closure of Beryl Street between Flagler Lane and 190th St from June 27th to August 31st. Because of the impact that a full closure will have on Beryl Street, the City of Redondo Beach and Torrance strongly urge motorists to plan for alternate routes.

In continuing the Beryl Street Improvement Project and in addition to the full closure currently ongoing on Beryl Street, the City of Redondo Beach and Torrance will conduct a full closure at the intersection of Beryl Street and Flagler Lane from July 13th to July 15th. Because of the impact that a full closure will have at the intersection, the City of Redondo Beach and Torrance strongly urge motorists to plan for alternate routes.

Terracotta Concrete Benches for Sale

The City of Redondo Beach has terracotta concrete benches that were removed from the Esplanade and are now for sale on an “as-is” basis to interested parties. The price is $400 each including delivery to any location within the City of Redondo Beach.
