Metro C Line (Green)

A wide range of municipal transit and Metro connections are available at all Metro Rail stations. BCT Line 102 connects with the Metro C Line (Green) at the Redondo Beach station on Marine Avenue, and BCT Line 109 connects with the Metro C Line (Green) at the Aviation/LAX and Douglas stations.

Frequency of Trains: Every 7-8 minutes during peak hours; every 15 minutes during off-peak hours
Speed: 55 mph
Fare: $1.75 one way. Ticket machines accept coins and bills ($1, $5, $10, and $20).
Length: 20 miles
Park & Ride lots: Free parking. All stations have parking except Mariposa where there is no parking.
Security: Security provided by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The Metro Rail system is comprised of the Metro Blue, Expo, C Line (Green), Red, Purple and Gold Lines. View the transit line maps.

  • The Metro Blue Line runs north and south between Long Beach and Los Angeles.
  • The Metro Expo Line shares 2 stations with the Metro Blue Line, Pico & 7th St/Metro Center and then follows Flower St to Exposition Bl and goes west to Culver City. 
  • The Metro C Line (Green) crosses the Blue Line, running east and west between Norwalk and Redondo Beach, curving south near the Los Angeles International Airport.
  • The Metro Purple Line subway shares six stations with the Red Line Downtown and continues to the Mid-Wilshire area.
  • The Metro Red Line subway meets the Blue Line and Expo Line in Los Angeles and provides service through Downtown, between Union Station, Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley, where it meets the Metro Orange Line transit way.
  • The Metro Gold Line connects with the Red Line at Union Station, and runs northeast to Pasadena and Southeast to east Los Angeles.
