The California Eviction Moratorium ended, September 30, 2021.  While there is no deadline to apply for rental assistance, beginning October 1, 2021, tenants with unpaid rent can only be protected from evictions by landlords if they have applied for rental assistance.

Eligible families needing rental assistance can apply for CA COVID-19 Rent Relief today at https://housing.ca.gov/covid_rr/

The Redondo Beach Housing Authority administers two programs for the city: The Section 8 Rent Assistant Program and The Landlord/Tenant Fair Housing Program. Both programs are funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), which is a branch of the federal government.

Walk-in Lobby Hours: Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Documents may be dropped off anytime between the hours of 7:30 a.m. - 5:30, Monday – Thursday and alternating Fridays. The Housing Authority office is closed on alternating Fridays.
