Torrance Blvd. Resurfacing
from Torrance Circle to Prospect Ave. and the Torrance Blvd. & Francisca Ave. Traffic Signal Modification Projects 

Construction Notice: 
Hardy & Harper Inc. has been contracted by the City to resurface Torrance Blvd. from Torrance Circle to Prospect Ave. and install new traffic signal at Torrance Blvd. & Francisca Ave. Remaining work includes saw-cutting and removal of asphalt pavement; construction of asphalt pavement; construction of installation of traffic signals, control devices and signs; installation of pedestrian related amenities; installation of a Class II Bike lane; and traffic striping and pavement markings. 

Construction has recommenced this week. Project is anticipated to be completed in March 2024. 

 Construction Schedule, week of: 
02/22/24 – Cold Mill
02/27/24 – ARHM Overlay
03/04/24– Layout striping, Install traffic loops
03/13/24 – Install striping

Traffic Impacts 
There will be temporary closure of traffic lanes and redirection of the pedestrian path to facilitate the work.  Through traffic will be accommodated at all times subject to intermittent delays. 

Work Hours 
7:00 am to 6:00 pm (Monday - Friday) with lane closures only permitted between 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
