Draft General Plan

About the GPAC meeting:

This will be the 27th and final meeting of the GPAC . The subject of the meeting will be for GPAC to consider and make their final recommendation on updates to four (4) General Plan Elements: Land Use; Conservation, Recreation and Parks, Open Space, Safety, and Noise (the Safety and Noise Elements will replace the Environmental Hazards/Natural Hazards Element in the current General Plan) to effectively address growth and change, reflect the current goals and values of the community, respond to new laws, ensure the City meets requirements to be eligible for Federal and State funding, and craft goals and policies that allow the General Plan to remain a relevant “living” policy document.

After this final GPAC meeting, the Draft General Plan will move on to Community Workshops, Planning Commission, and City Council later in 2024.
