SEASIDE LAGOON NEW DISCHARGE PERMIT & TSO HEARING JUNE 1, 2017

Operation of the Seaside Lagoon is regulated by Waste Discharge Requirements specified in a NPDES Permit that is enforced by the Los Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board.  The existing Permit, issued in 2010, was scheduled to expire in 2015 but has remained in effect pending the Regional Board’s issuance of a new Permit.  A Tentative Order and Time Schedule Order will be considered by the Regional Board on June 1, 2017.  Comments can be emailed to the Regional Board staff at losangeles@waterboards.ca.gov with a copy submitted to Mazhar Ali at mazhar.ali@waterboards.ca.gov by May 5th, 2017 at 5:00 PM in order to have your comments included in the agenda package for the Regional Board meeting on June 1, 2017.  All comments are helpful.
