Women in STEM Careers Forum

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) presents a STEM Career Forum where professional women speak about their careers in STEM and the education required for the field.
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.  The program is for young people who want to learn about math and science related careers.  It is important for students in middle and high school to take science and math courses to be better prepared to enter college.

The Tech Trek Group of High School Girls planned and facilitated this program.  This program is free and open to the public.  Men, Women, Boys and Girls are all invited.  No registration is required.  Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Redondo Beach Library.
