This is a popular event, so come early!
The cities of Torrance and Palos Verdes Estates are participating in this year's Holiday Light Exchange sponsored by SBESC, in collaboration with our SCE partners, on Friday, November 30th.
SCE customers* from any South Bay city may bring up to ten old sets of electricity-guzzling holiday light strands containing any number of lights or color and exchange them for up to ten new LED 100 bulb, multi-color holiday light strands - - supplies are limited. LED holiday lights use 80% less energy than the old ones and will last 100,000 hours, which is about 20 years!
Participants must bring their SCE bill or drivers license to validate the SCE service address.
