Annual Parking Meter Permits

***2022-2023 Annual Parking Meter Permits are available for purchase IN-PERSON at Redondo Beach City Hall (415 Diamond St, Door 2)***

 ***2022-2023 Annual Parking Meter Permits are available for purchase ONLINE through the Online Payment Portal.***

  • You will be able to pick up the permit(s) in-person at City Hall

    • Office Hours

      • Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 12PM and 1:30PM - 4PM. 
        • The counter is closed between 12PM - 1:30PM for lunch.
        • Please Note: City Hall is closed alternating Friday's.

  • The Annual Parking Meter Permit is valid from the date of purchase and expires on October 31st. It allows you to park at any parking meter in Redondo Beach with the following restrictions:
  • Vehicles must be currently registered in the State of California. Exceptions must be approved by calling (310) 318-0611.
  • There is a 4-hour time limit at the parking meters in the Riviera Village Area identified by signs on the meter poles. You must move your vehicle every 4 hours.
  • You may not park at a parking meter in violation of any other State or Municipal law (ex. during restricted hours for street sweeping, during closed parking lot or park hours, as posted, etc.) 
  • How To Purchase
    • Complete and sign the Annual Parking Permit Application.
    • Pay online or in-person ($110)
      • Online
        • Visit the Online Payment Portal and click on 'PARKING METER PERMITS'.
        • Print out the confirmation email.
        • Note: There is a 3% online transaction fee.
      • In-Person
        • Check or money order (made payable to the City of Redondo Beach)
        • Cash
        • Card
          •  Note: There is a 3% card payment fee.
    • Pick up your permit(s)
      • Parking Meter Permits can be picked up at City Hall (415 Diamond St, Door 2).
      • Please bring your completed application and payment (if paying in-person) or printout of the confirmation email (if paid online).

    • Riviera Village Employee Parking Meter Permits

    • ***2022-2023 Riviera Village Employee Parking Permits for Business Owners will be available for purchase starting Monday, October 17, 2022 between 10AM - 3PM at Redondo Beach City Hall (415 Diamond St, Door 2)***
      • Please see the schedule below:
        • 10/17/22 - 11/16/22 Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays 10AM - 3PM ONLY
        • Starting Monday 11/21/22, Annual Parking Meter Permits will be available for purchase Monday through Friday 7:30AM - 12PM and 1:30PM - 4PM. The counter will be closed between 12PM - 1:30PM.
          • City Hall is closed on holidays and every other Friday. Refer to the City Calendar.

    • The Riviera Employee Parking Meter Permits are only sold to business owners within the Riviera Village at a rate of one permit per each employee reported on the Business License, at a cost of $60 per permit per year.
      • They are valid from the date of purchase and expire on October 31st.
      • Business owners are responsible for purchasing the permits, monitoring usage, and retrieving permits after an employee has separated employment.
    • The permit allows for parking in the designated employee parking spaces identified by the orange-colored poles for an unlimited time period without placing coins within the meter.
      • However, please note that "no vehicle with or without a permit can park more than 72 consecutive hours in a public lot or structure" (3-10.11 M.C.).
    • To purchase, business owners must:

      • Merchant/Employee Rules
        • The permit consists of a 6x3 inch orange placard displaying the permit number and expiration date.
        • The orange placard is valid only at the designated employee parking spaces identified by the orange-colored poles.
        • It is the permit holder's responsibility to clearly display the permit/placard.
        • The placard MUST be hung from the vehicle's rear-view mirror facing the rear of the vehicle while in use.
