Scott Behrendt’s highest priority as Council Member is to maintain and protect the Quality of Life of the residents of the great City of Redondo Beach!
 
Public safety, homelessness, traffic, parking, and responsibly managing city density and development, are at the top of his list.

As a 20-year Redondo Beach resident, husband, father of two school-aged children, youth sports coach, AYSO referee, and former Planning Commissioner, Scott is keenly aware of the importance of keeping this City a safe, clean, and nice place to live.

Scott’s long career as an award-winning attorney has taught him how to work well together with people of different backgrounds and points of view to solve difficult and complex issues.

Scott is a Southern California native who graduated Top 15 at the University of California, Santa Barbara (B.A., Business Economics) and #3 in the day student class at the Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. 

Scott enjoys spending his free time with family and friends, exploring the great outdoors, and traveling to new places.
