HOUSING AUTHORITY INSTITUTES NEW PUBLIC COUNTER HOURS The City’s Housing Authority division has undergone a staff re-organization due to reduced funding levels. In order to best serve our Section 8 program landlords, tenants, and the public, we have instituted reduced counter hours. Our new counter hours are Mondays and Wednesdays only, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
If you plan to visit the Housing Authority office when our counter is closed, we ask that you call ahead and schedule an appointment, if you do not already have one. Otherwise, you are welcome to stop by anytime during normal business hours to use our new self-service lobby. We have easy-to-use forms, as well as pens, paper, and other supplies for your convenience. There are also confidential drop boxes in our lobby for you to leave us your messages, questions, and information.
We do not expect that our new counter hours will negatively affect our program participants. Our staff will still be available by phone throughout the day, and we will still be answering our own extensions as calls come through (whenever we are in our offices and without clients).

Directions: From the 405 Freeway: Exit Inglewood Avenue in Redondo Beach. Go south on Inglewood Avenue to Artesia Boulevard. Turn right (west) onto Artesia Boulevard. Continue until you reach 1922 Artesia Boulevard on you left.
From the 110 Freeway: Heading towards the South Bay, exit at the 91/ Artesia Boulevard Exit. Take Artesia Boulevard west towards our office.
It will take you about 10 minutes to reach our office once you exit the freeway. You may park in the lot or on one of the adjacent streets.
