The City of Redondo Beach is responsible for street sweeping the entire city. The work is performed by city employees rather than a contractor. There are two sweepers running every day, excluding holidays. Although we do our best to pick up all debris with the sweeper, there are items such as palm fronds that cannot be picked up by the sweeper. If you notice large items left after the sweeper has gone by, please call the Public Works Department at (310) 318-0686 extension 4147 or fill out the online Customer Service Center request, included in this Web site. If your scheduled sweeping day falls on a holiday, the street will not be swept the following day. Your street will be skipped for that week and sweeping will return to the normal schedule the following week. Below is a list of street sweeping holidays.
