This division is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of 112 miles of the sewer collection system. The sewer activity is also supported with 15 pump stations and 9 back up generators. Individual sewer lines into the City's collection system are maintained by the division when plugged by a City tree.
The storm drain maintenance includes 182,756 feet of drains, 1121 catch basins throughout the City.
Line maintenance is an ongoing process. Sewage collection lines are cleaned between one to four times per year. Some chronic areas require a greater frequency.
