To aid in the disposal of large, hard-to-handle bulky items such as furniture, refrigerators, stoves, and mattresses Athens Services provides a FREE bulky item pickup service to single family and multi-family residents at the curbside or next to your trash dumpster.

As part of the enhanced services, electronic waste (e-waste) such as televisions, VCR's, cell phones, all computer components, microwaves and other items considered e-waste will now be collected as bulky items.

To schedule a pick-up, please call Athens Services at 1-888-336-6100 two (2) days prior to your regular collection day. A limit of 4 items per week is allowed.

Construction, demolition, and landscape debris including but not limited to: dirt, concrete, wood, asphalt, tile, drywall, metals, rock and rubble are NOT covered under the Bulky Item Collection Program.
