Located on the site is the Veterans Park Community Center and the Veterans Park Senior Center, along with grass and play facilities. The Veterans Park Community Center is a 13,333 square foot historic building (formerly Redondo Beach Main Library) constructed in 1930, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Center contains a grand ballroom/ banquet room, mezzanine, meeting rooms, fully equipped catering kitchen, office, bridal room, restrooms, elevator and storage. The building is leased exclusively to Spectrum Catering for weddings, banquets, meetings and special events. The newly renovated and expanded Veterans Park Senior Center is located within Veterans Park. The 4,172 square foot Senior Center includes a main activity/dining room, secondary activity room, kitchen, lobby, restrooms, storage areas, and outdoor patio and shuffleboard courts.
