Alta Vista Park is located at Camino Real and Prospect Avenue in South Redondo Beach. The 19.42-acre park is a combination of City and School District parcels and includes three individual multi-purpose sports fields and one little league field.

The Julia Field, located on City property, is unlighted and used primarily for soccer and T-ball games and practice. A temporary backstop and fencing is installed for T-ball. The field is maintained by the City.

The Alta Vista Community Center (715 Julia Avenue) is a 4,900 sq. ft. facility constructed 1997. The building includes a large multi-purpose community room, tennis office, kitchen, restrooms and storage. A new picnic shelter adjacent to the building is available for rentals. Alta Vista Tennis & Racquetball Courts (715 Julia Avenue) is a major recreation facility located within Alta Vista Park. The facility includes eight lighted tennis courts and two indoor racquetball courts. Both the tennis courts and the racquetball courts are well maintained and in excellent condition.
