Best Managment Practices Pamphlets

Best Management Practice (BMP) pamphlets outline simple yet effective ways of reducing pollution to the environment during daily work or home activities. You can obtain these pamphlets at the Engineering counter:

Flood Zone Information

The City of Redondo Beach is a participant in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and has agreed to furnish flood hazard zone information for determining flood insurance rates to anyone interested.

The Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) and Flood Insurance Study (FIS), along with other related documents are available for viewing at Redondo Beach City Hall Door 2, Engineering Service Counter.

Map/Plan Reproduction

City maps, sewer system maps, aerial photos, existing street plans and other engineering documents are available for reproduction or partial photocopying. The administrative fees for photocopying and map/plan reproduction are given in the City's Fee Schedule (PDF).

Parcel/Tract Map Plan Check

Surveyors with Parcel Maps and Tract Maps to be checked may submit them to the Engineering Counter. It will take a minimum of ten working days to process the plan check. The cost for the plan check is included in the City's Fee Schedule (PDF).

Permits

Construction-related and other public right-of-way permits are available at the Engineering counter. Descriptions of the different types of permits available can be found on the Permits page.

Sewer System Information

You can obtain sewer manhole location information for the entire City. Sewer lateral information is also available online via the Sewer Lateral Locator page.

Survey Information

Engineering has centerline-tie as well as benchmark information available, to be used for surveying within the City. Survey-related information has provided to us by Los Angeles County can be found on the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works website. Survey-related information provided by us can be found on the Redondo Beach Engineering Division Mapping Portal website.
