Household Hazardous Waste Collection and Document Shredding Event

Bring your household hazardous waste (HHW) and documents for shredding to the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center Parking Lot located at 1935 Manhattan Beach Boulevard on Saturday, October 28, 2017 between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Redondo Beach Residents and Businesses only — Proof of Residency REQUIRED. Business hazardous waste will not be accepted.

FREE Compost Giveaway on October 21st

Athens Services will be giving out free compost on Saturday, October 21, 2017 between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM at Wilderness Park located 1102 Camino Real, Redondo Beach, CA 90277.

This event is for Redondo Beach residents only - proof of residency is required.

The City of Redondo Beach and Athens Services will be providing document shredding service at no charge on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center Parking Lot. Residents and Businesses of Redondo Beach only - Proof of address REQUIRED.

Mandatory Commercial Recycling

Assembly Bill 341 requires all multi-family buildings of 5 or more units and businesses with 4 or more cubic yards per week of refuse service have a recycling program in place or subscribe to a service that includes mixed waste processing.
