Information Wanted

On Thursday, July 21, members of the the Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach Police Departments arrested two men suspected of committing numerous thefts across Southern California and many in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County. Robert Messersmith, 31, of Torrance, and William Fulton Jr., 30, of Hawthorne were arrested during the service of a search warrant at a home in the City of Torrance. The Los Angeles County District Attorney filed multiple theft and weapon violation charges against each of the men this week. 

Officers have matched some of the property to recent crime reports and returned the property to victims.  The Police Department is seeking other victims in this theft series. The Police Department has multiple items that are suspected to be be stolen including construction tools and equipment, jewelry and sporting goods. Victims who believe that their property is among the items depicted below should contact the Redondo Beach Police Department Crimetips line at (310) 937-6685 or crimetips@redondo.org and leave a detailed message for investigators.  Owners of the property must present documentation or sufficient information to verify their ownership. See the photos of items below.
