The Main Library has black and white copy machines. Copies are $.15 each. Debit cards are available from the dispensing machine in the copy room. Color copies are $.50.

Typewriters for Public Use Two IBM Selectric II typewriters are housed at the Main Library in the Copy Room, ready for public use. The machines cost $.50 (two quarters) for twenty minutes; no library card is required. Patrons must supply their own typing paper.
Self-Service Now Available At the Checkout Desk Why wait in line when you can check out your own books, CDs and DVDs? Just use the "Self-Check Machine" located by the entrance to the Main Library. Follow the simple instructions and receive an itemized print out, including due dates.
Security Engravers for Private Property At the Checkout Desk Courtesy of the Redondo Beach Police Department, these hand-held engravers can be checked out for three weeks. Label your tools, sporting goods, or household appliances for ready identification and return.
Public Meeting Rooms When not reserved for library and city use, the meeting facilities on the Library's second floor may be rented out for cultural and educational activities that benefit the citizens of Redondo Beach. Please visit the circulation desk at the Main Library for a copy of the meeting room policy (fee schedule included) and an application form, or call (310) 318-0676, ext. 2532 for information.
Wedding receptions, banquets, and other social events can be booked at the Old Redondo Library in Veterans Park through Spectrum Catering at (310) 937-6844.
Built in 1931, the Veterans Park Library served the city for 60 years. It is now on the National Register of Historic Places.
Veterans Park is located in the Redondo Beach Harbor area at the West End of Torrance Blvd.
Outside Drops Separate book and audiovisual return bins are located outside the Main Library and the North Branch for 'round the clock return of materials. If materials are dropped in the bins before the library opens at 10 A.M. on Monday through Friday or 9 A.M. on Saturday, items will be treated as if they were returned the prior open day.
