Library Cards Library cards are issued with proper identification. Bring a valid California driver's license or I.D. card. Children are eligible for a card at age five. A parent or guardian must co-sign registration forms for young people under the age of eighteen. The Application Form is available online. Loan Periods 1 Week: Juvenile holiday books, feature films, foreign films and children's videos (limit 10, no renewals), DVDs (limit 10, no renewals) 2 Weeks: Adult new fiction and Interlibrary Loans (ILLs) 3 Weeks: Juvenile and adult books, audio books (cassette and CD), music cassettes and CDs, special interest videos and DVDs.
