Metrolink is a premier regional rail system, including commuter and other passenger services, linking communities to employment and activity centers.



Torrance Transit provides local and regional service on nine different lines including services to downtown Los Angeles, LAX and Long Beach.



Gardena Municipal Bus Lines provide local routes that serve the community needs and connect with Metro bus and rail service to Los Angeles or surrounding suburbs.



Los Angeles Department of Transportation provides DASH, Commuter Express, City Ride, Union Station / Bunker Hill Shuttle, Observatory Shuttle and Charter Bus to serve wide area of Los Angeles.



MAX, Municipal Area Express, a commuter bus offers three routes to service South Bay residents and operates during the morning and afternoon peak commuting hours.



The City of Lawndale operates two fixed-route bus routes serving key destinations in Lawndale. 



PVPTA provides service to Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills Estates and unincorporated Peninsula areas of Los Angeles County.



The Carson Circuit provides service throughout Carson and connections to the Metro Blue Line and regional bus services from Torrance Transit, the MTA, Long Beach Transit and Gardena Municipal Bus Lines.



Long Beach Transit provides fixed and flexible bus transit services in Long Beach, other communities in South and Southeast Los Angeles County and Northwestern Orange County.  Long Beach Transit also operates the Passport shuttle, Aquabus, and Aqualink.



Culver City Bus operates seven routes, serving the Westside communities of Venice, Westchester, Westwood, West Los Angeles, Palms, Marina del Rey, Rancho Park, Mar Vista, Century City, and Culver City.



Santa Monica Municipal Bus Lines, more commonly known as the Big Blue Bus, operates in the Westside region of Los Angeles, providing both local and bus rapid transit service in Santa Monica and adjacent neighborhoods of Los Angeles (including LAX). Express service is also provided to Downtown Los Angeles and Union Station.


The City of Downey’s public transit system, Downey LINK provides a connection to the Metro Green Line, operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm with four circulating routes.

Foothill Transit provides fixed-route bus service from the San Gabriel and Pomona valleys to downtown Los Angeles.
