The City of Redondo Beach is happy to provide a reduced-rate Metro bus pass program for the residents of the City. Since the City of Redondo Beach subsidizes this program, reduced rates are only available to Redondo Beach residents.
In order to qualify for the reduced-rate, you must provide proof-of-residency. This requirement may be satisfied by providing a utility bill, driver's license or a copy of your lease/rental agreement. You may bring proof-of-residency each time you purchase a pass or provide us a copy of the required documents to keep on file. Our files are updated annually.
In addition to providing the required proof-of-residency, if you are a student purchasing bus passes, you must provide your Metro identification card or school identification card. Your parent may supply required documentation for residency.
Please note Metro Senior/Disabled monthly passes are available at a reduced-rate for Redondo Beach residents at Senior & Family Services located at 1922 Artesia Blvd., Redondo Beach.
You are encouraged to purchase bus passes by mail. Proof-of-residency, an order form, and a self-addressed stamped envelope are required. Passes are mailed on the 25th of the month so that you receive the pass on or before the 1st of the following month.
Metro bus pass order forms for Redondo residents and non-residents can be accessed via the links below.
