Because the City of Redondo Beach subsidizes the program, reduced rates are only available to Redondo Beach residents.

You must provide proof-of-residency to qualify for reduced-rate bus pass sales. The requirement is satisfied by providing a current utility bill (i.e., gas, water, electric). Bring proof-of-residency each time you purchase a bus pass or provide BCT Administrative Offices a copy of the required documents for filing. Records are updated annually.

In addition to providing required proof-of-residency, you must provide a school identification card to purchase a student bus pass. A parent may supply required documentation for residency.

Costs for bus passes will not be reduced if proof-of-residency is not presented when purchasing passes or on file with BCT Administrative Offices.  

Bus Pass Sales Hours:  7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday from the 25th day of the prior month through and including the 10th day of the purchase month.  No bus pass sales when City Hall is closed on alternate Fridays and holidays.
