Because the City of Redondo Beach subsidizes the program, reduced rates are only available to Redondo Beach residents.

You must provide proof-of-residency to qualify for reduced-rate bus pass sales. The requirement is satisfied by providing a utility bill, driver's license or a copy of your lease/rental agreement. Bring proof-of-residency each time you purchase a bus pass or provide BCT Administrative Offices a copy of the required documents for filing. Records are updated annually.

In addition to providing required proof-of-residency, you must provide a school identification card to purchase a student bus pass. A parent may supply required documentation for residency.

Costs for bus passes will not be reduced if proof-of-residency is not presented when purchasing passes or on file with BCT Administrative Offices.
