City Council Agendas, Minutes, and Live and Archived Media


Council meetings are held on the first, second, and third Tuesdays of every month beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 415 Diamond Street. In order to assist you in understanding the procedures for conducting City Council meetings, an explanation of the agenda structure has been created for your review.

Posting of agendas, minutes, and video. City Council meeting agendas are generally posted on this website 72-hours before the scheduled meeting (24-hours if special meeting). Minutes are posted once they are approved by the City Council. Please allow up to 48-hours after the meeting for the video to be available for viewing.

Rebroadcasting of City Council meeting. The City Council meeting is programmed to playback on the City of Redondo Beach local access channels, Frontier - Ch. 41 and Spectrum - Ch. 8 on Wednesday and Saturday, following the meeting, at 11:00 a.m.

Viewing agendas, minutes, and video. City Council meeting agendas, minutes, and videos are arranged by date, with the most recent at the top of the list. Click on Agenda, Minutes or Video to watch the meeting with its corresponding documents. Click on the Adobe Acrobat icon to view the document in pdf. You can also search the archives by typing keywords into the Search box.

Navigating the Video. To view the video on a particular agenda item, click on the blue hyperlinks using the document to the left of the screen.

Video Archives.  Video archives are kept at the City Clerk's Office for viewing or duplication. To request to view a video archive or for a DVD copy please submit a Public Records Request.

Referral/Action Summary. A Referral which, is a DRAFT of the actions taken at the Council meeting, is available generally 24-hours after the meeting. Once the minutes are approved by the Council, the minutes will appear on this web page.
