The City of Redondo Beach will hold a Special Municipal Runoff Election on Tuesday, May 12, 2015. The election will be held for the office of City Councilmember – District 3.
All Vote-by-Mail Election
The election will be an all Vote-by-Mail election. Every City registered voter in District 3 will receive a Vote-by-Mail ballot. April 13, 2015 is the first day (allowed per Election Code) for mailing Vote-by-Mail voter ballots so voters should expect to receive their ballots in the mail sometime after April 13. We encourage you to mail back your voted ballot as soon as possible to ensure delivery on or before May 12, 2015. The City will provide drop off locations on Election Day to turn in your ballot if you have not mailed it.
If you are a City registered voter residing in District 3 If you did not receive a ballot or the ballot is “spoiled” you may request a duplicate ballot by coming into the City Clerk’s Office, 415 Diamond Street, Door C, M-F 7:30 am – 5:30 pm. There are 3 ways to return your ballot
1. MAIL your ballot by May 12, 2015.*
2. BEFORE ELECTION DAY drop off your ballot at City Hall, City Clerk’s Office, 415 Diamond, Door C.
3. ON ELECTION DAY drop off your ballot from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm at any of these locations:

Don’t forget to SIGN the outside of the envelope when you mail in your ballot. Your ballot cannot be processed without a valid signature.
*Pursuant to Election Code Section 3020, Vote-by-Mail ballots received via United States Postal Service or a bona fide private mail delivery company must be postmarked or date/time stamped by May 12, 2015, and received by the elections official no later than 3 days after the election (May 15, 2015).
