General Municipal Elections to fill elective offices are held in the City on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in March of each succeeding odd-numbered year to fill the offices of persons whose terms expire on March 31st next succeeding the election. Each person elected at a General Municipal Election shall hold office for a term of four years from April 1st next succeeding his election. General Municipal Elections shall be consolidated with Board of Eduction elections.
