Commemorative Donation Program
All donations become the property of the City of Redondo Beach. The City cannot guarantee the replacement of plaques or donated items if they are damaged or vandalized. The City reserves the right to relocate and remove donation items at any time. All donors will receive a thank you letter or certificate of appreciation from the City.
Commemorative Bench
A commemorative bench in one of our beautiful and peaceful City parks is the perfect way to honor a loved one. Funding a bench can help make our City a more attractive and pleasant place to live, work, and visit. The City cannot guarantee specific request on location but will make every effort to honor requests or propose an appropriate alternative. At present, the approximate cost of a commemorative donation bench is $5,000 and may vary from the date of the quote to the date of the installation due to manufacturing supply chain changes. This cost is subject to change at any given time.
Commemorative Tree
A commemorative tree is a thoughtful gift for an anniversary or birthday and a beautiful way to memorialize a loved one. A small bronze plaque will sit at the foot of the tree with an inscription that you may create. Staff will provide a list of trees acceptable for planting at an approved location. Certain tree species are preferred due to their adaptability to our climate and maintenance requirements. At present, the approximate cost of a commemorative tree and plaque is $1,000 and may vary from the date of the quote to the date of the installation due to manufacturing supply chain changes. This cost is subject to change at any given time.
