Refund & Account Credit Policy


REFUND & ACCOUNT CREDIT POLICY 
Please review the following prior to completing the Refund or Account Credit Request Form:

REGISTRATION & CREDIT CARD FEES:

  • The $5 Registration Fee is non-refundable.
  • The 3% Credit & Debit Card service fee is non-refundable.

 

POLICIES:

  • A $25 fee will be charged against all returned checks.
  • A $25 transfer fee will be charged for switching classes/camps.
    • Transfers MUST occur one week prior to the class/camp start date and ONLY if space is available.
  • Fees listed represent the cost for the class/camp. Fees are NOT pro-rated for participants that register late.
    • Make-up dates are NOT offered for class/camp dates missed by the participant.
  • If a class/camp does not have the minimum number of participants registered two weeks prior to the start date, the class/ camp will be cancelled.

 

IF THE CITY CANCELS A CLASS/CAMP:

  • If the City cancels a class or camp, you will receive a refund of the class/camp fee and Registration Fee.
    • Refunds will be in the form of a Refund Check or Account Credit.
    • Please note: Credit card fees are non-refundable.


IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL YOUR CLASS/CAMP:

  • FOR CLASSES: Requests MUST be received prior to the start of the second class.
    • There is a $25 cancellation fee for each class.
    • No refunds will be given once the second class has begun.

 

  • FOR CAMPS: Requests MUST be received three weeks prior to the first day of camp.
    • Camp eligible refunds will be no more than 75% of the camp fee.
    • No refunds will be given for camps once a camp has started. 


ADDITIONAL REFUND INFORMATION:

  • No refunds will be given for one day classes.
  • Refunds are issued in the form of a check. 
    • Please allow 6-8 weeks for check refunds to process.  

 

ACCOUNT CREDIT REQUESTS:

  • Account Credit requests will NOT incur cancellation fees.
    • Please note: Credit card fees are non-refundable.
  • Account Credits are applied directly to the participant’s RecWeb Account and do not expire.
  • Account Credits may be used for any member in a household for any future City class, camp, excursion, or event.
  • Account Credits cannot be refunded to checks once applied to the participant’s RecWeb Account.

 

CONFIRMATIONS:

  • Camp receipts, waivers and reminders will be emailed to the Head of Household
    • Please ensure accurate spelling at time of registration.

 

Refund or Account Credit Request Form

If Participant is a child, Head of Household must be a Parent or Guardian.

If cancelling a class/camp for multiple children, please include all names in the Child Name section.

If cancelling multiple classes/camps, please include all class/camp codes.

Checks cannot be mailed to a PO Box address.

Please choose a Check Refund or Account Credit option. Unless specified, all requests will default to Account Credit.
