C07-014-1, FIVE YEAR RENEWAL OPTION OF THE EXISTING AGREEMENT WITH THE REDONDO BEACH HISTORICAL SOCIETY FOR CONTINUING USE AND OPERATION OF THE MORRELL HOUSE THROUGH FEBRUARY 28, 2017 AND INCLUDE LANGUAGE PROVIDING THE OPTION TO EXTEND THE AGREEMENT IN THE FUTURE and authorize the Mayor to execute on behalf of the City.

FIRST READING BY TITLE ONLY OF ORDINANCE NO. 3087-12, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 5, CHAPTER 4, TITLE 5 OF THE REDONDO BEACH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO THE WASTEWATER USER SEWER FEE OF THE WASTEWATER SYSTEM REGULATIONS.

Staff recommends City Council:

a. Open the Public Hearing and take testimony; and

b. Close the Public Hearing; and

c. Direct City Clerk to tabulate the number of protest submitted by parcel owners affected by the Wastewater Sewer User Fees and determine if there is a Majority Protest according to Proposition 218 requirements; and

d. In absence of a Majority Protest, introduce and approval of first reading of Ordinance No. 3087-12.

The next meeting of the City Council of the City of Redondo Beach will be an adjourned regular meeting to be held at 5:00 p.m. (Closed Session) and a regular meeting to be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2012, in the Redondo Beach City Hall Council Chambers, 415 Diamond Street, Redondo Beach, California.
